+jeremiahjt
A local collector has some 3DO games for sale and I am having trouble figuring out a price for DOOM. It is in the jewel case with the manual. I assume it came in a cardboard long box so it would not be complete. Any help would be appreciated, right now he wants $36 for it. +save2600
7 completed listings here = $41 avg. price. Even if you take away the long box listing, still at $39 average. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=doom+for+panasonic+3DO&_in_kw=1&_ex_kw=&_sacat=0&LH_Complete=1&_udlo=&_udhi=&_samilow=&_samihi=&_sadis=15&_stpos=53546-2079&_sargn=-1%26saslc%3D1&_salic=1&_sop=12&_dmd=1&_ipg=
CGQuarterly
If the average is $39 on eBay, then $36 as a local deal seems kinda steep. I'd offer $30.
+jeremiahjt
Those were not showing up for me. Maybe I should have added Panasonic to the search.
Blazing Lazers
I would've said around $25 shipped for a complete with longbox copy, but it's apparently been a while since I've checked availability on this. It seems as though there aren't that many copies on Ebay, surprisingly. Amazon only has a few copies, too. This game has gotten scarcer in recent years. Anyways, subtract 20% of the average SOLD Ebay price as there's no fees from Ebay and PayPal, and examine the condition. Factor in completeness as well- a 3DO game is ONLY complete if it has the longbox by my standards, though all the extra paperwork and inserts are not required. Blazing Lazers
Isn't the 3DO version of Doom one of the worst? Been forever since I last played it but I don't recall being too impressed by it.
icemanxp300
Anyways, subtract 20% of the average SOLD Ebay price as there's no fees from Ebay and PayPal, No, just no. Ebay fees are 10% paypal fees are 2.9% +$.30. That's like 13%. Now you also have to factor in time and gas to meet the person. This is why I do not sell locally much anymore. This mentality has forced me to only sell on ebay now. Make more even w/fees and sit at home in your comfy chair. Then spend 5 minutes to pack and ship and done. Keep telling yourselves you are benefitting the seller by saving them fees.
