Wyluli Wolf
****UPDATED October 20, 2017**** Scroll down to see photo's. Atari, Commodore 64 and Sega Master System controllers for sale. I've tried to make these a bit more budget friendly but still have a nice design with quality parts. I can do button placement on the right or the left of the joystick. PM me with special requests. The joysticks are made with IL Eurostick joysticks* with cherry micro switches. The buttons are concave Happ buttons. Cables and strain relief boot are brand new. Nyloc nuts are used to prevent loosening over time. The Atari joysticks work with both the Atari 7800 (two buttons) and the Atari 2600 (both buttons act as "fire"). * The iL Eurojoystick may be better known as the original HAPP Competition. iL (Industrias Lorenzo) is a Spanish manufacturer of high quality and extremely durable arcade parts. Originally known for manufacturing HAPP parts (such as the Happ Competition Joystick) until HAPP moved production to SUZO facilities in China, iL continued to provide high quality parts under their own label. Wyluli Wolf
No pics for Dig Dug special edition. What is the base/case made of and the approximate weight of the controller? I still need to put together a Dig Dug box. Once I do I'll get it posted The case is a plastic project box. The approximate weight of the controller is just over 1 1/2 pounds. fluxit
The Pitfall version is amazing. I don't suppose you have any ball tops you'd substitute? I've never appreciated those newfangled sticks.

I've never appreciated those newfangled sticks. I do not have any ball-tops in stock but I could order some if there is interest. The Seimitsu sticks are more expensive so I would have to add $10 to the total cost of the stick.
zetastrike
Are you Alan-9000 from the Classic Game Room video? Do these sticks allow for switching between 8-way and 4-way for games like Pac-Man?
Wyluli Wolf
Are you Alan-9000 from the Classic Game Room video? Do these sticks allow for switching between 8-way and 4-way for games like Pac-Man? Nope, I'm not Alan-9000. I guess you could call him my competitor I believe we use the exact same project boxes. I put more effort into the cosmetics of my builds with color, Atari logos, game themes, etc. I also use the IL-Eurosticks instead of Happ which I like a bit better. Not to knock Alan, I'm sure his sticks work great too. Mine are just...sexier I do not use the 4-way- 8-way switching sticks. I thought about it but most of the feedback I've checked state that the switchable sticks do not work that great. That being the case I'd rather have my stick do one thing well than two things just OK. I could build a dedicated 4 way stick for Pac-man, Galaga, etc. but I'm not sure how much interest there would be. Perhaps one day I'll build one for myself and if it's awesome I'll see if anyone is interested in purchasing it. If you really wanted a switchable stick I would be willing to build one for you. I'd just have to price check the stick cost to see if it would add anything to the build cost.

I'm definitely in the market for a 'Pitfall!' with a ball-top(preferably still yellow, wouldn't want to break that neat color scheme.) Let me know. +Razzie.P
How do you hold/use those? I'm tempted to buy 1 or 2 (really fond of the Boxing look) because they looks great, but a little concerned that they wouldn't be comfortable to use. Seems like the project box would be a bit too big to hold in hand like a normal joystick or gamepad, and not big enough or heavy enough to stay put on lap or table like a bigger fightstick, for example. Let me know. I'll need to order some parts but I can build it. It will probably take a week and a half to two weeks to get the parts in and finish it up/ship. Cost breakdown for Seimitsu LS-40 Joystick + $10Color Balltop (yellow) + $2 (Optional) Color shaft/Dishwasher set + $2.50 I'd send photo's when complete and if you are satisfied you can send payment and I'll ship it out. Let me know what you would like to do. Thanks!

Seems like the project box would be a bit too big to hold in hand like a normal joystick or gamepad, and not big enough or heavy enough to stay put on lap or table like a bigger fightstick, for example. I use it on my lap. I sit in a bean bag so my legs are bent and I balance the joystick against them. If you wanted to set it on a table you would need to put some rubber feet on the bottom to help hold it in place. Possibly fill it with lead or gold to make it heavier? I can sell you a boxing one. If you decided you did not like it you could send it back for a refund, but you would be responsible for shipping cost both ways. Thanks.
