Shining Force CD is playable in Japanese

I've been into collecting Japanese Mega CD games and decided to pick up Shining Force CD given how expensive an English language copy is. I'm surprised and pleased to report that it's perfectly playable despite not being in English. The only thing I had to do was find a translation of the script to keep up with the story and find a description of the items (both on shining force central). Everything else is represented by pictures and is easy to figure out.

 

Just FYI in case anyone else wants to play this on their Sega CD and doesn't want to use CD-Rs. Note, my Sega CD is modded to switch between a NA and Japanese (both non-region free) bios.
