Games Retrospect
As part of my new year's resolution, I'm trying to read more. While I was doing some research online, I stumble upon some books about video games and I was wondering if you had any recommendations. The two I'd like to get at some point are Masters of Doom and Critical Path: How to Review Video Games for a Living (the latter is of particular interest to me because I spend a lot of time reviewing games.) So which other books come to mind? Thanks in advance!

cvgplus
One book that I have somewhere is History of Nintendo 1980-89 and pretty detailed about early beginning of Nintendo, talks about the cards, game and watches etc. I've heard good stuff about Masters of Doom but haven't read so can't comment. Games Retrospect
Playing at the Next Level: A History of American Sega Games, by Ken Horowitz (Melf from Sega-16) I looked this up and read some glowing reviews on Amazon, so I added it to my wishlist. Really looking forward to checking it out.
