I think sku_u got this right, but here is my guess:

1. Joe Sr.

2. They were all songs that were in movies made by John Hughes:

"If you Leave"---Pretty In Pink

"(Don't You) Forget About Me"---The Breakfast Club

"Gloria"----Sixteen Candles

"Twist and Shout" ---Ferris Beuller's Day Off

Mr. Music wins again! Yes, Joe. Sr. was the only Jackson not to have had a hit on any "Billboard" chart -- although he did manage the Jackson 5.

Jermaine and Tito were members of that group, and LaToya had a few hits (surprisingly) on the Billboard R&B charts. And Rebbie did, of course, make the Billboard "Hot 100" chart in 1984 for her enticing dance hit, "Centipede".

And yes, all of these songs were from John Hughes' films. Congrats on answering all questions correctly!
