vintagegamecrazy
I have an intellivision model 1 system that I thought I had fixed by reflowing all of the connections for the controllers. It turns out that it still giving me issues. The first time I used it it played fine for a few minutes and then the controllers quit working. I cleaned it all up inside and it worked again for about 10 minutes and then the controllers went out again. Something is obviously overheating. Is there a chip or something that can be replaced inside that can fix this or a possible heatsink issue?
+nanochess
If the controllers cease to work, the probable culprit is the AY-3-8914
vintagegamecrazy
They work for a few minutes and then stop after it cools down for a while they work again.
