docman
Has anyone given this a shot? I'd would think using something close to a "real" controller on a PC would be pretty nice for checking out homebrew games without having to hook up the real deal. Zonie
You actually like those things? Edited March 4, 2017 by Zonie
docman
I don't particularly like any of the Intellivision controllers, but some of the games are near impossible to play without one. I love the side buttons on the flashback controllers. haven't noticed any issues with them yet, but haven't spent a ton of time using them. Originally was assuming I'd be breaking the original controller so I wasn't willing to sacrifice an original controller.
mr_me
These also work well. Retronic USB http://www.retronicdesign.com/en/ Vision-daptor http://www.2600-daptor.com/Vision-daptor.htm Edit: Thumbpads are the way to go. Improving the stiff side buttons on the originals helps. If you're okay using your left thumb for direction, modern gamepads and analog sticks are okay for many games. Few intellivision games made after 1984 use the keypad. And many don't use more than four directions. Edited March 20, 2017 by mr_me
