What's wrong with your va2 model?

It wouldn't turn on. Before I knew about repairing the voltage regulators, I gutted the system, cut the wire from the power jack, and I don't know where that ended up, and modified the case for a computer motherboard to fit in there so I could use my Sega Genesis like a computer.

I should've rephrased my sentence. The board just doesn't turn on. So If I were to fix it or send it to you I would have to find a new case. Thanks for asking to fix it though! And currently I am at a different loaction than the board, but when I get to where I have my board I will send a picture.

Can you show a picture of the broken board to see what the cut power jack looks like?

Today i've been using my VA2 Model 1 today and does anyone know any games that can distort besides Gunstar Heroes. I was listening to Ice Cap Zone Sonic 3 and i did noticed a small amount of distortion. Also i tried the Steets of Rage games (I used Streets of Rage 1) and i didn't find any distortion.

I actually have a VA0 myself! Just preamp fixed it recently

 

 

It's crystal clear and sounds like an arcade machine! The PSGs and FM synths are at the same volume as well so I can hear every synth

 

It's my main Mega Drive although the YM2612 looks a little different lol
