bradd1978
I have an NES Advantage stick I modded recently for sale/trade. I did a couple different things though and they worked quite nicely. I took the joystick switches from a Quickshot and integrated it into the controller with the original shaft (see pics). This gives the joystick a nice microswitch arcade stick feel and eliminates the squishy rubber pads it used. Secondly, I installed button switches from Neo Geo stick parts I had, also eliminating the squishy feeling with the buttons. I've included pictures of these upgrades. Overall, lots of improvements and the stick feels really nice and very responsive. Looking to get $60 shipped or will trade for 7800/2600/5200 games I need.

cjameslv
Nice to see someone else modding these! I modded one with arcade parts a couple years ago and love the switches for buttons! http://nintendoage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=7&threadid=141582

guitarmas
I can vouch for this guy. I bought an NES modified pad from him. Good craftsmanship!
