Jess Ragan
So, I gots 'ta know... what's the point of that dial on the bottom of the Super Action Controller? Do any games use it, and if so, how? My best guess is that it's there for turning your soldier in Front Line. I do know that spinning the dial in Konami games (Cabbage Patch Kids) doubles their speed as long as the dial is moving. NIAD
It's called a Speed Roller and is used in Super Action Baseball and Football to control the speed of the baserunner or ball carrier. I don't recall if Super Action Soccer uses the Speed Roller, but now that I think of it, I don't think the game does.
Pixelboy
It's used in Super Action Soccer too. When you spin it, all your players on the field move in the spin's direction simultaneously. Not terribly useful in practice, but it works. Also, Front Line doesn't use the spinner.
JustinMSalvato
Out of curiosity, has anyone tried using that controller on Sega or Atari systems? I never have. Wondering how much of it works.
