Skippy B. Coyote
Out of curiosity, does anyone happen to know if any talented programmers ever produced a hack of Combat that added in computer controlled A.I. for the second player? Combat is about as classic and timeless as a home video game could be, but it can be tricky to find someone else who wants to play it with you these days so it would be quite cool if there was a way to play against the computer. +sramirez2008
I don't know about a hack, but Combat 1990 provides single player mode. I recently purchased a copy and barely played it, just enough to test the cart. I need to really devote some time to it, so I can provide a proper review on the 7800 Homebrew thread. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/263162-wanted-feedback-for-combat-1990/
TrekMD
There is a hack that does add AI to Combat for the 2600: http://atariage.com/hack_page.php?SystemID=2600&SoftwareHackID=197
BassGuitari
I think he's asking about a game that's identical to Combat except P2 is CPU-controlled (am I right?) rather than re-worked version of the game.I would be interested in that as well. In fact, it would be great to see one-player hacks of all those early two-player games like Slot Racers and Football.

Red vs. Blue 2600 Wars does look like a fun game, but what I'm really looking for is the classic Combat with the only change being that player 2 is controlled by the computer.
