You should check the bottom and see if the serial number sticker has an asterisk. If so it means it was "fixed" by Atari to allow use of the 5200-2600 adapter. Might drive the sale a bit. Otherwise most four port units cannot use one of those adapters without modification. Also, I will add that while people seem to stear clear of the four port due to the odd power going through the rf, I will say from personal experience that the RF picture on the four port model is much clearer than the two port model. Maybe becuase the rf connector is getting power? I have no idea, but the RF signal was far superior and more close to composite. I always preferred playing my 5200 games on the four port for that reason.
