RiderofOstriches
I am very new to the world of classic computing and I feel that an Apple II would be a good place to start. My problem is, every time I go on eBay I find plenty of systems but they all either look damaged, are missing keys, or just haven't been tested. I would much rather pay more for something that will work than gamble on it and have a broken computer lying around. Does anyone know of a place that sells refurbished systems hopefully under $250? Than you in advance.

+nanochess
I think you should contact Keatah, he has tons of Apple ][ systems in his garage and house, I've heard three rooms of his house are filled with Apple equipment and his wife isn't delighted.

RiderofOstriches
Btw, if possible, I am looking specifically for the Apple IIe or IIc.
R.Cade
I am in Augusta, GA and have a couple of IIe Platinums... I only need one. Working perfectly with a couple drives if you want. If someone is closer to you it may make more sense, but Fedex Home is not too expensive for shipping, and I pack well. I know the perils of getting broken stuff.
RiderofOstriches
+Dragonstomper how much were you thinking for the price. I expect shipping to bite but I can deal.

shoestring
I sold an Apple //e ( enhanced ) in great condition for less than $300 AUD recently. So there are definitely good ones out there if you're patient enough to wait for the right one.
