Wrathchild Posted May 18, 2017 Share Posted May 18, 2017 (edited) I've well underway with re-working this for the 5200, currently able to rebuild an executable for the A8 from sources. In playing the game I don't seem to see two elements that are part of the code: 1) The are many 'quotes' (lookup table at 0x7C0C), e.g. "In the scale of destinies, brawn will never weigh as much as brain" - James Russell Lowell. 2) There is a dlist/screen defined for a high score table (at 0x755D) Has anyone ever seen these shown in the game? It maybe possible to enable them but similarly if it is redundant code then could be dropped to help putting on the 5200's 32K cart ROM space. _The Doctor__ Posted May 18, 2017 Share Posted May 18, 2017 the quotes and the high score was part of the disk version of the game... keep the quotes.... not sure you have save capability on whatever 5200 cart your using... if you can then why not activate and include them?
