BoatofCar
I can play Mario Bros for 5-10 minutes and all is fine, but about 50% of the time the sprites start to glitch out (see attached pic). Any ideas on what I can do to fix this? Edited May 20, 2017 by BoatofCar
TPA5
You might want to post on the Build Your Own Arcade forums or KLOV forums. Lots of crotchety pricks floating around those places, but good sources of knowledge nonetheless.
BoatofCar
Hey, thanks! For some reason they make you pay $2 to have the ability to post (?) but using the search feature I found this: https://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=316150&highlight=mario+bros. I took out the corresponding ROMs, cleaned them, reseated them, and voila! Everything's perfect!
racerx
Lots of crotchety pricks floating around those places, but good sources of knowledge nonetheless. You rang? Many times problems after several minutes of power on are heat related. You said you cleaned the roms, but make sure your boards in general are clean. Dust can raise the resistance in the boards and produce heat. My Warlords had the same problem. Members can vouch for new accounts on KLOV. The 2 buck charge was instituted for those that came "without references" to cut down on spammers.
