Realsports Tennis to badminton hack

I've kinda liked playing badminton but I was disappointed to find out there was only 1 badminton game for retro consoles apparently.

 

Could Realsports Tennis be hacked so that the graphics (mostly the net) and score better reflect badminton, but most importantly, have whichever side lose if the ball touches the ground? (And perhaps some slight changes to the ball physics to cater to the new rules)

 

I prefer Realsports Tennis to Activision's because the latter is too hard for me and I like how you get the option to press the button to move the racket.
