VectorGamer Posted June 12, 2017 Share Posted June 12, 2017 I swapped the 512-MB SD card from the AtariMax to use with my Atari Flashback Portable that I got. Will a 16-GB SD card work with the AtariMax? I copied all the files over to the card but I won't be able to test it myself for a while. I know mine originally came with a 2gb bog standard SD card and not an SDHC or SDXC..etc. I now have a 4gb card in mine and that seems to work well. I know I changed it for a faster SDcard because the Bad Apple demo was lagging using the original SD card that came with it. In fact, I think I now have that older SD card in my CV ultimate SD. But yeah, I would stay with no larger than a 4gb and while I know that a standard SD card will work, I believe it can handle an SDHC. Just use the SD formatter utility (NOT WINDOWS) to format it to FAT only and you should be okay. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
