Harry Potter
Hi! I am new to the Atari world and am looking for a quick way to start programming the 8-bit Atari's. I am familiar with CBM Basics, 6502 assembler and cc65 C. I am basically looking for a crash course in Atari programming. I have access to atarimania.com's books section. Any suggestions? tschak909
* De Re Atari * The Atari 400/800 Hardware Manual * Compute's Books of Atari * Pretty much everything else in the AtariMania books section. The hardware manual is especially important because it lays out the registers of the machine in a very easy to understand format. De Re Atari is very much a tutorial on understanding various graphics and sound aspects, but it's only a start. -Thom
