+Lathe26
In the past few months, I've picked up a number of oddball Intellivision-related items. Some of these I didn't even know that the existed until I got my hands on them. I figured I'd share. This will be a series of posts in this thread. Starting things off, here's a picture of everything in one shot:
+Lathe26
First up, the Mattel Electronics Intellivision Book Cover. This already showed up in AA a few months ago so my main contribution is some close-ups. I should add that this item is made of paper that would never survive a school year. The paper is simply too thin.
+Lathe26
Next up: the Avenger Joystick. Most Intellivision joystick add-ons either look like the long-shafted Stickler or look like a game piece from the popular Canadian game Sorry™. I got these sight-unseen, solely off of the name listed in an AA member's for-sale spreadsheet.
+Lathe26
Next: Dr Pepper can with the Intellivision Lock 'N' Chase contest. Never knew this existed until 30 seconds before clicking Buy It Now on eBay. I even have a picture of the inside of the can. They put a more complex design inside that is typically seen for "Look inside can" contests. Obviously, this came from Canada. This is very likely part of the same contest we see those Lock 'N' Chase pins for.
+Lathe26
And next: the Coleco Press Kit. One of these showed up in a AA post a few months back so this post might not add much new content. This particular kit had a couple duplicate flyers that were omitted from this post.
+fdr4prez
Neat stuff. What is the overall size of the book cover? You think a large format scanner and a large format printer would be able to duplicate it? Or even give inspiration for someone crafty enough to make other designs? The graphic alone, and others like it, would look just fine for framed wall art.
+Lathe26
... aaaaaaaand next is the Sylvania Press/Dealer Kit. Again, this made the rounds on AA so I doubt I am adding much that is new, but here they are anyways.
+Lathe26
Lastly, and most surprising to me: a service manual for the Intellivision II by SAMS. I have no idea what relationship Sams had with Mattel or more likely with INTV Corporation, if any. The copyright date is 1985, though the printing quality and paper pristineness makes me think it is a more recent printing. Was this created to help INTV Corporation or did Sams just create this of their own accord? The schematic was left in high-resolution (big!) while the others were resized for quick viewing on a computer screen. The page numbers look out of order because this item has an unusual folding pattern (likely great for someone in the midst of doing an actual repair).

One challenge with scanning it would be the excessive curling due to how it has been stored for years.

VincentMN
Hello, I have a few of the book covers in mint condition and never used. Trying to get an idea of what they are worth?

Trying to get an idea of what they are worth? I just bought one off of eBay a couple weeks ago for $50. For a mint condition one I would likely pay more than that. Are they all Nightstalker or any other games?
+BBWW
I would be interested in one if you choose to sell...
