Mototech
I recently moved. The old 99 and it's PEB we're in the attic. Seeing them sparked memories so I hooked up the console (PEB power supply fried 20 years ago) and played hunt the wumpus. Just for kicks, I searched Craigslist and low and behold, someone selling 2 consoles and a PEB. The guy bought them at an estate sale and knew nothing about it. I bought them for $100. PEB had the usual cards 232,fdc,and memory, but the memory card is a myarc 32/128k. The card is upgraded to 512k and also has a 2.5mm jack on the back of it that goes to a second 7805. I can't find any documentation, but I assume it's for battery backup. It also has 2 slim floppy's in a separate case, speech synthesizer and a modem. I think I got a pretty good deal.
+Ksarul
Definitely a very good find! There isn't a lot of software that takes advantage of the 512K Myarc card--but it will run Myarc's XB-II software, which is a bit faster than the TI XB or its derivatives, as it is written in Assembly as opposed to GPL.
