sprazzi
Surfing the web i found this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bHLzCvebRc It's peculiar that nobody knows anything about it... It seems interesting but...i find it strange there are no news about it...
glazball
The "multicard" eh? Very interesting! I'm curious why an Italian multi-cart would use the title "Arcadia 2001" which was the system's name in the US only (and Japan as Bandai Arcadia). sprazzi
Thanks for your reply, it's much appreciated. I found it fishy too... Nobody knows anything and the maker makes no publicity about it ... I contacted him and he says that he"has sold them all..." except for the last one which he would sell to me for 100 euros... carlsson
I believe 5-11under sells his multicarts for $105 including worldwide shipping, at least the batch in 2013. Perhaps his costs have increased. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/189779-arcadia-2001-multicart-2011-version-any-interest/page-11 So the two carts are roughly priced the same. I don't know about content or functionality though.

Because that console is rare enough that peopel that look for it will find it's an emerson Arcadia 2001. Trying to sell this cart under a local name would severely limit the sale possibility. I mean if you were looking for such a cart, how woudl you find it if I made one under the name of "Advision Home Arcade"? And if you foudn this card by looking randomly, hwo would you know it's Arcadia-compatible?
glazball
Oh I never got the impression he was trying to sell it, just demonstrate it for the YT video. Though 5-11under's multi-cart has dip switches (which might be less preferred), if you're looking for a multi-cart message him and give him your support. @CatPix - I see your point. It's funny that here in the US, the Arcadia 2001 is *so esoteric* that most hardcore gamers don't know it even exists. I had a few extra Arcadia 2001 boxes and a loose cart that I traded to a local retro game store and even the employees there had no idea what they were. I had to explain it because they had never seen or heard of it. I assumed it would be even more unknown (as the Arcadia 2001) in Italy! CatPix
It's an equally obscure console in Europe but the few sites that talk about it and loval variants usually refers at the Ermerson Arcadia 2001 as the original and to European systems as clones, so it's how it roll now I guess. +stupus
I believe the UAL Home Arcade is the original system and the emerson is merely a clone like the roughly 40 other variants. I just think emerson was the largest company that distributed them and the only 1 in the usa....well with the possible exception of the mpt03 intelligent game system...which appears to have at least been planned to sell here in the usa...but i cant confirm if it really was. And I agree any seller trying to sell for this system would want to put arcadia in the discription. Gig Leonardo would confuse just about everyone. Also I can't imagine it's equally obscure in europe as it is here. Here literally nobody knows what it is or had one. And most of the systems and games that do turn up usually look unused or like nos.
CatPix
Franckly When I show mine, no one know what it is, and only a few retro freaks like me know about it. But even owning one? Not any Frenchman in retrogaming I know own one. Maybe in some countries it might have been less obscure (for some reason, the BitCorp Gamate was more successful in Italy thanks to GIG than in any other country) but that doesn't make it famous. I think may more people in Europe know of the Interton VC 4000 and 1292 Advanced Programmable Video System.

The Multicard in question has also been tested with the Arcadia 2001 console and everything works well.
Musicmax
I'm the manufacturer of the multicard for arcadia type consoles 2001. I have made it for pure passion and in a personal way. After the first video where I prototyped several people contacted me asking myself to be able to do it for them as well. Obviously I had to improve it and create even better graphics. There was a big problem finding empty boxes, then I bought some cheap games and used them (as did all multicart manufacturers). They were enough to cover the first request but now I'm finished and I no longer want to buy and play other cartridge games, so I made the box in 3d, the supply could be available by mid-September. Sprazzi contacted me and I was available with him by sending photos and explaining the situation but it is too suspicious and did not believe me .. its problems The cartridge works well and the ability to select the game in decimal is far more ' Versatile and immediate. I hope I have not violated any rule in the forum, but since I was mentioned I thought it appropriate to write to you. Sorry for my bad English but I'm Italian .
