Apparently the Jag "could" have had:

Shinobi

Streets of Rage 1,2,3

Virtua Racing

...

interesting to note that Atari acted as a patent troll ;-)

Anyhow I didn't know and I would have taken Virtua Racing over Checkered Flag (I know, that one was easy).

Where's Lost Dragon when you need him?

Apparently it was nothing new:
https://assemblergames.com/threads/jaguar-unreleased-games-info.20747/page-5#post-943228
(of all people)

anyway the lunatic says Curt already published all that.
Sorry for the "jolt".

EDIT: it seems Lost Dragon is on AssemblerGames dabbling with the lunatic.

EDIT2: and wrt Sauron of AA "he's a overpowered [replace with a word that rhymes with cypriot] of a moderador, dictating what you can and you can't say"
https://assemblergames.com/threads/jaguar-unreleased-games-info.20747/page-5#post-943363
... what part of moderator did the lunatic not understand? LOL.

EDIT3: if the moderator feels like closing the thread given it's old news ... sorry again.

Just know that if you are prepared to confront the idiots and morons they will spend the rest of eternity attacking you.

Hat tip to anyone else prepared to stand against their nonsense.

Nahhh, I am just a fool!!

... and I am pretty sure in some topics I was the moron ... it's just that sometimes that one lonely neuron left in my left hemisphere fires on all fours (you know: analytic thought, logic, reasoning) ... the right hemisphere has been vacated long ago (art awareness, music ... lol, you should hear me singing .... it's something else, it's so bad that when I sing under the shower the water changes path).

KGRAMR rocked up on Unseen64 posting under user name of R

Started appearing in Jaguar threads posting nothing but pure speculation

and offensive posts, Luca had to waste valuable time deleting his comments.

He then took great offence to myself correcting Kierans wild Lost Jaguar game game YT videos etc and again posted offensive comments.

As for Assembler..christ he is like my pet stalker on there..

I had put some time in converting Scott Stilphens zip files for various community sites to have a read of..Atarimania had put a good few up, people on Assembler that only dabbled in Atari were enjoying them..then this guy..is all over them..

Attempting to discredit, demanding i basically share everything Scott gave me,this instant..

Saying Curt had put x,y and z up already..well if he had, a lot of folk hadn't seen it, judging by reactions they have received..

When a coder like Carlo P. said all Conan code was lost or Tiertex point out Lynx Strider 2 code lost, people simply didn't keep backups back then..

KGRAMR knows better..code is apparently out there.

I create a thread showcasing everything known on Panther, games wise, full sources given..

This nutter posts up Kieran Hawkins pixel nation article from 5 years ago, even though he knew Leonard Tramiel alone had ridiculed it for the claims made.

But yes, Scotts files contained details of the Sega games Atari could of had, so i put them up on Assembler, but it's like cat nip for JSIII Paranoia P.R department..

:-))

He is honestly more totally off his head than Kieran Hawkins..

Talk of me being in with Reboot, moles..axis of evil..

FML..this is just annouced Jaguar games that never made it..

But it's treated like North Korea's nuclear programme by this shower..

I've honestly never had such bizzare behaviour pointed in my direction over something so triva.

He waits till i share a misc file, create a misc thread and then Spam posts old material taken from Atari Age, ST Format, you name it..

I think my posts are feeding it, but why should this runt born from a Kieran Hawkins FB group feel he has a free run at supplying people with info on lost Atari games?

I've literally just come in from a night shift, dog tired, but..Kieran Hawkins and all his little stunts and people he ran crying too, in order to discredit my finds and myself didn't stop me researching further for other folks sites and projects.

Marty Goldberg scolding me on RetroGamer forum didn't nor did RetroGamer Magazine editor, threatening to ban me from the forum, if I continued pointing out the appalling lack of research Kieran had put in to his articles and editor himself..

I mean really you do an article on Doom get Jaguar and 32X versions mixed up, plus Saturn and PS1 versions..

Do a feature on sprite scaling, admit you have no idea of custom hardware in Lynx or Sega CD and you don't know what Mode 7 is..

Allow such 'facts' as 3 Million Lynx units sold,ST Defender Of The Crown Appeared before Amiga version, ST Myth was released..

Thunderburner was a showcase ST game

Etc etc and don't expect paying subscribers like myself to stand up and say just WTF is this B.S i'm paying for here?

Then KGRAMR must be away with the fairy folk if he honestly thinks he's gonna be the guy who changes anything i do..

..man..I need my bed here..

Basically..after discovering Curt and Marty Goldberg's Panther facts were way off the mark, i stopped reading any more of their work and started looking for info i wanted myself and sharing it as it came in.

I knew UK press etc had spoken a lot about the Atari deal, Kizza made wild speculation as what could of been, Tramiel would never detail any titles,so when i found the files in Scot's documents, i converted and shared them.

People clearly hadn't seen them, so if Curt shared them, they weren't very high profile.

Besides, as long as info is widespread, who gives a flying food who put them up 1st?

As long as the people interested in the subject get to see them, they have served their purpose..

Now we know what titles were under discussion between Sega and Atari.

I really don't want to get drawn into anything else that will fuel KGRAMR's bizzare mindset..

And CyranoJ is exactly right..the moment you take a stand and say pissing off, your supposed expert claims are copied and pasted from other people's posts, finds, UK Press, pure speculation or footage you had altered..or answers to suggested figures you put to Darryl Still and he goes along with..

Your singled out..

I might be many things to many people but i put the hours in researching, i wasn't lying to Nolan Bushnell about being a teacher or that Jeff Minter told me he had worked on Ultra Star Raiders or i had written Steve Davis Snooker on the ZX Spectrum or getting caught up in hotel booking scams or caught creating false user accounts on RetroGamer forum to push for more work or taking Tomb Raider mock up screens at face value or altering 3Do footage for my Lost Jaguar games collection or copying lock, stock and barrel other people's magazine scan DVD'S lent to you for benefit of a forum, falsely claimed as your own, just because you had Mod status and used it as a staging post to wage a bitter little war against your banning from AA.

So, if i'm the troll/mental case/trouble maker etc..I am bloody glad to be in that bracket..

But i will not stand idly by and see people on forums like Assembler treated like fools just by a vocal minority..

If this JSIII FB group is all that..it wouldn't be closed off, it would do what normal community sites do..put info up in public view and let folks decide for themselves if it's a community they want to join.

Now, bed and goodnight gracie..

Sod it..tired..teasy..phone auto correct all over the shop..

Rant post's, but it needed to be said..

These people were banned from forums for a reason..popping up on new ones proclaiming innocence and a degree in serial bullshitting..

Wore thin on RVG..

Actually i only discovered Atari Age as Kieran, Gorf, DCRIP etc pissed and moaned soo much about Wahhh how evil it was here..I spent a rainy Sunday afternoon trawling through, well everything..

What did I find?

Source of Kizzas expert knowledge.. Other posters info..

Back to basics :-))

The whole Steve Davis Snooker fiasco and a trip to WOS for more on thar.

Ditto little Green Desktop for his i wrote ST P.D games.

If he'd kept quiet... I would of been none the wiser..

And Kieran..sending me that PM saying..I've yet to see any proof you know more about Atari than you do..was what got me into interviewing, looking into your supposed expert claims..

You created me in effect..

I'm your Cylon war machine, knocking on the door of your 12 colonies of bullshit..

And I have to end on this..

What kind of special stupid LIES to Nolan Bushnell about being a teacher in a Skype interview he is doing for his YT Channel, doesn't edit the lie out and then Spam promotes said video for all to see him lying to his supposed idol?

Could it be the type who says here Leonard, have a gander at this Panther article i cobbled together from other people's websites, a UK magazine and my own special blend of speculation and made up claim.

Nah Guv, speak to anyone before printing claims as fact? Jog on...

And then wonders why Leonard tears it to shreds for false information..

This after you know damn well what you put in it has been proven to be utter bollox other than Martin Brennans comments from the Konix site and Shadow Of The Beast Peter Johnson confirmed he and his colleague had worked on, which like The Crypt, Leonard himself was unaware of...

I just...I just don't..

I remember the "news" of this settlement from around the time it happened, probably reported as a little box in Next Generation magazine. What I didn't understand at the time, and still don't, is whether the expectation was that SEGA would develop these games for the Jaguar platform, or that Atari gained the rights to do it themselves?

If SEGA was expected to deliver some third party Jaguar software, but didn't, what would be the remedy? Atari bringing legal action, with money they didn't have, to try to make games happen on a platform that wasn't selling?

Or did it not happen because Atari was in no position to develop these themselves, regardless of having the licenses available to them?

I understand where you are coming from, but that's part of the problem. But I guess unless he's stalking you and being a direct asshole to yourself, why care? I mean, he's only causing trouble for the content makers and information champions for the Jaguar. Once they all disappear, it'll be great, right?

Nice I think I remember reading these documents about the agreement but never seeing the list of games. I do enjoy that stuff very much but it is also quite hilarious to see how the communication went down as mentioned above. And in the end not one single title came out of this, which is a shame really. I would have liked to play Shinobi or Streets of Rage on my Jag. ;-)

I don't take your meaning. Are you suggesting I choose a side and participate in the idiot troll war happpening in other forums?

It's not a flame war..it's a holy crusade..evil must be unmasked..true faces shown..apparently.

These are not the children of any given god. .

But writers. .truth seekers..media personality types..

Doing it for truth..justice and paid for RetroGamer work..hits on YT..free copies of publications..books..vain attempt to get taken on by industry as a writer. .

All lovely stuff i am sure..but picking the Jaguar as your specialist subject...

Well 5 years later..still freelancing for same publication after many a bump along the road then..

Trying to stop others..nothing to do with myself here either..working with people bringing out dedicated publications on Atari didn't work out so great either.

So the dirty tricks pulled out of public view are the real issues..not so imagined flame war on a forum elsewhere.

Forums are a mere shadow of what they once were..people use far greater range of social media devices these days.

LD, I'm sure you have a good reason for everything you say, but you know that by dumping it all here in this thread, you come off as a loon to those of us who just want to hear about Tramiel-era Atari and SEGA, right?

Indeed..but then that was the very claim put around about me years ago..so only fair i play to type.

You don't think it was going to be simple case of me converting Scott's Sega files into JPEG images..posting them on Assembler so they could be copied over onto Sega 16 and a topic started on here as a result..did you?.

If labelled a loon..then a loon i shall indeed be.

Don't fret over it..You got to see the files..New topic started on here..

Your welcome by the way..It was my time that put saw the documents Scott passed on..converted and shared..

Yes i have plenty of it..but it still took some messing about with to get info out there..

Ignore function still works here i believe..that'll block the loon stuff..

Normal chat content below.

Take your pick. .
