CRTGAMER
After reading the Where Does The PS2 thread, noticed the Board index does not cover specific common retro consoles. Atari of course should lead as already indexed. There are so many other consoles; perhaps best way is to set up the Classic index based on manufacturer? Coleco is covered, but there is no Sony for PS1 and PS2 categories. Sega only covers Genesis and should include the Master System and maybe portables as well? Nintendo could also include the SNES and Gameboy categories? Edited August 5, 2017 by CRTGAMER
Albert
When AtariAge was created sixteen years ago, the focus was primarily on Atari systems. However, over the years, a significant amount of discussion has blossomed for other systems as well, such as for the ColecoVision, Intellivision, TI-99/4A, and others. I've added forums for many consoles and computers over the years, and many over the past few years alone (Apple II, Bally Arcade/Astrocade, 3DO, Commodore 8-bit Computers, Switch, etc.) I was just asked earlier today about adding a NUON forum. At this point it is probably worth fleshing out and perhaps reorganizing the console/computer forums and adding ones that are obviously missing, such as the Sega Master System, SNES, and Gameboy as you mentioned. ..Al
doctorclu
Albert I would say you are doing a fine job in adding computer/console forums as there is a need or a desire by someone to have them added.
CRTGAMER
Concur, thanks and also a repeat thanks for the work involved in bringing 5200 Tempest out on cartridge. "Has everyone played Atari Tempest Today"?
