+Lathe26
Al's Music & Games store in Federal Way, WA burned down on May 21st, though I only recently learned of the fire. Al's Music & Games operated 3 locations, 1 of which was lost due to fire. I have been to all 3 locations. News video: http://komonews.com/news/local/federal-way-fire-guts-sandwich-shop News article: http://www.federalwaymirror.com/news/federal-way-loses-9-businesses-in-huge-sunday-fire/ Aftermath described on their Facebook page with photos: "Federal Way update: All they could salvage was half a truckbed. ??? Hopefully we'll be back around the New Year with a new store front! Keep coming to our Seattle and Tacoma locations until then! PM us for house calls too!" +atari2600land
My Game Crazy I had gone to had a fire a few years back, almost as bad as this one. It was on New Year's Day (some stupid kids and fireworks don't go together). It reopened, though. And apparently business was so well there they had to move to a bigger location. Keatah
Wonder if the ROM chips themselves survived? I've seen them come through unscathed in similar fires.
