+nanochess
Hi. Just I was thinking in Digger (too fast in AT), Moonbugs and Styx (both using 160x100 CGA mode dependant on quirks) from Windmill Software. Also remembered Buzzard Bait and Bushido, both speed up badly. Not counting emulators of course, only anything that fails in 286 and over. Any other game that you can remember? landgraf
AFAIR both Sopwith and Sierra Championchip Boxing ran too fast on more modern Systems (or even an XT pimped with a NEC V20 CPU running at ~8 MHz instead of 4) to be playable.
+nanochess
Maniac Mansion and Space Quest also goes too fast outside of a XT.
bradhig1
Wordplay a wheel of fortune clone has botched graphics in anything over xt speed. It worked fine on a real 286 but not in dosbox. A pcjr game called mouser runs too fast above xt.
Zap!
Gapper is the first game that I ever remember that ran too fast when I went from an XT to a 386. Man, I loved that game...
zzip
Some of the older Ultima games run too fast (up to u4, I think).
Omega-TI
I seem to recall Astrotit and a version of Battlezone running too fast on anything greater than a 286.
lazzeri
IIRC Alley Cat too. And also Test Drive? Memory is foggy on this one.
bohoki
the cga gameshow games maybe classic concentration, family feud, wheel of fortune but i thought the turbo button took care of most prob sorry i have no recent experience when i retired sopwith, von krashenburn filled the void well
mr_me
Deathtrack was a game where I had to press the turbo button on my computer to play and then with newer computers became unplayable. Anyone know for what cpu/speed Deathtrack was designed?

Anyone know for what cpu/speed Deathtrack was designed? a 8086/8088/NECv20 or 80186 @ 4.77Mhz. It was designed for an original IBM PC. Tempest
IIRC Alley Cat too. Actually Alley Cat will run on a modern system (well windows xp anyway). It's got a good speed limiter.
