Qubes is probably my favorite Colecovision game. Unfortunately, the game will lock up occasionally, aside from that it is a great game. Here's a pic from my personal best from 25 years ago, over 700k. As you can see, I still had plenty of extra Q*berts. This game locked up as well or I might have rolled it. You have some great opening scores also. I can see that this last round will be a good battle. I expect nothing less. As for Popeye, we are currently playing it in the 5200 HSC as well and there are some MAJOR differences. In the first screen, the Sea Hag only appears on either the left or right, not both in the 5200 port. On screen 2, you can keep Bluto on the bottom level while getting the notes and using the See-saw over and over grabbing Swee' Pea. Haven't been able to do this in the CV game. During screen 3, the vultures don't swoop up and down like the CV port, they always fly straight across and you can punch the letters. Bluto is much more predictable and easier to get after grabbing the spinach on the 5200 port. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That actually happened to me on my first session last night; I had about 58,000 points and still had plenty of lives left, and the game locked up. Fortunately, my next session was freeze-free. DuggerVideoGames Posted August 31, 2017 Share Posted August 31, 2017 I anticipated that you'd top my 220k score. Played quite a bit tonight and finally achieved this. Those damn little green bastards who reverse the colors keep showing up way more frequently around level 8 (and they always show up when you're about to beat the round, then you have to do those squares all over again). What's interesting is I have more trouble with level 5 than I do with levels 6 and 7; once I reach the super-fast level 6, I actually enjoy it and finish the rounds quickly! DuggerVideoGames Posted September 3, 2017 Share Posted September 3, 2017 (edited) I'm so pissed off right now... ever since my webcam broke, the only way I've been able to submit pics is via the Nintendo 3DS. First, I take the picture with the 3DS, then I use the 3DS's browser to log into Facebook and post the pic, at which point I then log into FB on my computer and save the pic to the computer, then post it here at AtariAge. Why do I do it this way? Because I have no iPods or iPhones or cell phones (due to my hearing impairment and the fact that some cell phones buzz my hearing aid). Well, now it seems IMPOSSIBLE to post pics onto FB with my 3DS anymore!!!! I keep getting error messages where FB says the page is too large and tries to reload every time (whether I choose YES or NO, it just automatically tries to reload pages and I can never submit the pic). This really pisses me off, because I was ready to submit my new high score for Popeye (247,340 pts).
