No. This guy was re-creating the 3D effect. If you connect something to a PSVR, all you'll get is the feeling you are looking at a massive, flat theater screen, not 3D. I think an emulator could be tooled to render stereo and offset certain play field elements and characters by colors in order to create a 3d effect.
