+the1hatman
Or he could put it up on ebay and see what it fetches. Right, or he can sell it to me I would be fine with that too! No need to mess with eBay on this one. I doubt anyone can really quantify its value correctly at this early stage anyway. It's best for me to wait for the super collectors in the community to check through all their Super Pro systems and then get a fix on just how common or rare these things are. I'm guessing maybe 1 in 10 SP systems are full Tudorvision rigs so it should have a decent level of rarity. I'm currently unemployed and pretty broke but selling this now, even for a generous amount, won't change things for me much other than short term. Nothing in the Intellivision collecting world has "life changing" value so I'd rather keep my one really rare piece of it. At least then I can pitch in with pics and answers to questions people may have about it rather than it being stashed away in someone's variant collection. Also, I'm hoping to be able to actually play any homebrew releases of Tudorvision games should they wind up being produced. I don't have LTO Flash or any kind of emulators so lucking into this system might have been my only chance to do so.
+intellivotion
If it's not a Tudorvision, I wonder if my only Intv III is a Stuartvision (j/k, bro)
+BBWW
Here is my question. If we buy these without a Tutorvision compatible system...It would be possible to ship a cart with garbage on it. LOL

LOLI think if they include the extra exec and the extra system ram on the the cartridge then the tutorvision rom will run on a standard intellivision. The graphics and small text will be wrong but the cartridge would play, I think.

My guess is the existence of these in the wild is enough reason to keep any homebrew Tudorvision publishers on the up and up. No one wants to have their grand scheme thwarted by some random minor collector who just happened to luck into owning a "Tudor-Pro" system
mr_me
My Super Pros are: A 7229 (doesn't display fancy font) A 11244 (doesn't display fancy font) ... You should take a closer look just to be 100% sure. Although none have been found like this, it is possible to have a tutorvision board with the old square font. decle
No one wants to have their grand scheme thwarted by some random minor collector who just happened to luck into owning a "Tudor-Pro" system Hmm, StudioVision will spot the existence of the extra GRAM in a TutorVision and switch to full screen mode, does this mean it is the first Tutorvision specific homebrew? m-crew
We cannot be sure the Super Pro systems are using the Tutorvision font. Here is the program for testing for extra GRAM. You should get trash in a normal Intellivision console, but a meaningful image in a system with the expanded GRAM Just downloaded this and flashed it on my LTO. What should I see? mr_me
The best test is to put in NHL Hockey. At the title screen is the Mattel Ellectronics text replaced by INTV Corp? Is the font rounded? Are the bottom corners of the ice equally rounded? On a normal Intellivision the left corner is rounder than the right because of the missing pixels. +nanochess
Thanks Didn't see that on either system. Check the rounded corner with Hockey, it could have disabled the extra GRAM with a jumper.
mr_me
Check the rounded corner with Hockey, it could have disabled the extra GRAM with a jumper. If you write a program that checks for the extra system memory, it should be a good test for a tutorvision board. I think it's between $360 and $4ff.
gunoz
Wow Hatman, congrats, that's a great find. As for Alex's question, yes I'd be interested in all three.
mr_me
I and David Harley dumped the roms of 3 tutorvision games: - Geo Graphics - Map Mazes - Shapes In Space We could produce these games with box, manual and all, BUT they would work only on tutorvision consoles and on some (not all) of Super Pro System consoles. So, they would be mainly pieces for collectors (but could be played on emulator on pc). If we do it, anyone would buy them? Thanks:) Alessandro When can we see Geo Graphics; a video, screenshots, rom file?

mr_me
Thanks! As a level 2 cartridge it's a little more advanced than the other two, but not by much. Can you show us the "Place Match" and "World Wise" parts?

mr_me
Very nice. It's a tutorvision/intv1988 board. Only thing to check is for the wbexec chip. This one, like hatman's, has bubbled keypad controllers. The ch3/4 is also molded into the plastic as opposed to stickers, also like hatman's. Where did you find this one?
