dafa_123
Hello, I have installed a composite AV mod on my Intellivision and in some games the screen won't stop shaking for some reason. The title screen is Ok, but when I start the game the screen just shake a little all the time. Not all game do this, only a few... Any ideas how I could fix this? Thanks. Keatah
I'm not an expert in mods for intellivision. But it's a growing problem in the hobby. I guess the most common thing would be to mod the mod so it is compatible, or get a different tv, or get a different mod that is more "compatible" and stable. +-^CrossBow^-
I've not seen this personally on the Intelly's I've AV modded with composite. However, I have seen them do this using the RF onto my modern HDTV. It was one of the reasons I did an AV mod on my Sears unit. Since I've modded John Hancock's INTV III model and another 2609 unit and they also had the same shaking up and down but only on RF. Once I modded them for the composite, they didn't do this any longer. What AV mod did you install?

I recently ordered a Coleco Mod from http://www.coolretroprojects.com. I did not received it yet. Anyone knows if they are good? Thanks. +-^CrossBow^-
I've not used that particular mod board. I actually use the Intelly comp kit from Coolretroprojects and I've not had any issues using them. The only issue with ordering anything from him, is that you need to be willing to wait a while. He is in Turkey, so it takes a while to get the items shipped to you. As an example, the last order I did for an Intelly comp mod, I got his email telling me it shipped like 4 or 5 days after I ordered it. But I still didn't see the AV mod board in my mailbox for like a month. And everytime I've ordered from him, it takes a while. But I've always been happy with the results. I've not used his CV mod kit though. For those I prefer to order from Yurkie directly.

Unless someone comes up with a trick to solve the issue, I think that I will simply order a new mod from Coolretroprojects. When I eventually get it, I will simply replace the old mod.
