Wilheim
Hi, everyone! Some time ago i bought from iPhone App Store Pokey Player. It has the asma collection to play on iOS. Unfortunately, with the new iOS 11 version it doesnt play anymore. Does anyone know what alternative do I have? I really want to play sap files on my iPhone. Regards! ivop
You could try VLC for iOS. There is a SAP plugin for VLC. If you cannot install the plugin yourself because of Apple's walled garden (even though it is your device), you could try bugging the VLC for iOS maintainer to include it. Or maybe Apple won't even allow that, because the SAP player executes code they can't verify (the Atari 6502 player routine). IIRC they won't allow emulators. Next option is to jailbreak your device. Or ultimately buy an Android phone Edited October 9, 2017 by ivop
pseudografx
Not exactly a player, but I offer two workarounds: 1) Either use asmadb search engine (http://asma.atari.org/asmadb/search.php ), which includes a SAP player, that was recently rewritten into HTML5; 2) Or use https://www.exotica.org.uk/mediawiki/index.php?title=Special%3AASMA where you can download ogg/mp3 files generated out of the songs. Mr Robot
Modizer plays pretty much everything, including SAP. It has a built in browser and search engine, can download from ASMA and other libraries directly. I personally wish it had a more professional/standard UI but I can't fault its playback abilities or its visualisers https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/modizer/id393964792?mt=8

Wilheim
Well, I acquired Modizer and it works nice! the Pokey emulation has some minor bugs compared with Pokey Player, but I can play my favorites sap files. Thanks so much!
Mr Robot
I found GME was better than ASAP for playback in general settings global.
