Everett1954
Hi, I am making an SD card for a friend that just purchased the 2017 Sega Genesis Ultimate portable and I need to know: The file suffix (.BIN, .SMD) of the type of game it will read. Does the first character of the game title have to start with a capital letter? Do they need to be in a folder called GAME? Thanks
Tanooki
I take it you don't have a manual right? (It's in there) I used to have one, dumped it waiting on a remodel of the guts but I do remember. You need .BIN and inside of a /GAME folder. Just make sure you have valid ROMs, BIN formatted, and tossed into /GAME. Fire up system with SD inside, go to SD menu and it'll list it all. Just keep in mind no save games, the few that do were hacked to do so. Also some games just don't work due to critical graphical (or other) failure and the best one I know of sadly is Contra. Everett1954
Thanks, don't have a manual or the unit either, making SD card for out of state friend. I had last years Atari flashback portable and it was the same except the file names had to start with a capital letter, not the same for Sega?
