Strange DIY 5200 controller adapter, need some help getting it to work...

Recently I received some pretty strange home made game items. Looking for some more info on this 5200 controller adapter that I show in this video. Any suggestions on what 9 pin controller would work? Enjoy the video!

Since it doesn't work with a digital stick, it's likely a home built replacement for the keypad that came with the analog WICO joystick. That'd be a pretty easy mod to make. If my suspicion is correct, a digital joystick won't work with it.

I have one of the joysticks and have been meaning to build up a keypad like that. Or, I could build a Y cable and use a CX-53 to pick up the keypad related functions.

And why wouldn't John have the 5200 Analog Wico [buttplug] Joystick in his collection? He's a total completist! And hats off to him for having that 30th Anniversary 7800 Dust Cover too.

Thanks for the heads up. I will dig in my game room later and see if I have one. I have a pair of competition pro controllers I think, but not this one. I use the masterplay interface, and is more compatible with what I have.
