I decided to work on my Channel F game even though I don't have a Channel F. But even if I did have a Channel F, there doesn't seem to be an Everdrive-type thing for it. Last year I bought a Channel F, but it wasn't working right so I took it back. I don't know why I did. Dumb decision I guess.

So I'm stuck with working on it with MESS. My last computer I had had all the stuff, but it died, so I had to redownload all the stuff I had used. And I still am almost clueless as to how to program the thing. I was changing an example program. I don't know why though. I don't know how to do collision detection. I don't even know why or how the snake is being produced.

But last night I worked on it for about 10 hours straight. Again, I have no idea why. I actually got to sleep at about 7 am. When I was done, I had a sort-of Snafu game but only with one snake. And no way to check to see if you crashed into yourself.

But my ideal game is to have two snakes, one blue with red eyes, and one red with blue eyes. The goal is to not crash into the other player for as long as possible. I have one snake, I have a green, grassy background, I have a white border (though I don't know why it's white). I don't even know if it's possible to have two snakes going around the screen and have collision detection. But I guess if Pac-Man is possible, and it has four ghosts, then I would figure my game, which would use four sprites, is.

And I hope to learn more about Channel F programming. But I don't think I'm going to do it 10-hours straight again.
