How to Add a Clickable Link to a Status Update

Clickable links only work in the original status update. Links aren't clickable in replies to a status update. For an Internet address to become clickable, there can't be any text directly before or after the address. If you want to put text before the address, you must have a blank space between them. Same for any text you want to add after the address. There must be a blank space separating them. Here's an example from one of my status updates:

The good news: people are still donating! https://www.gofundme.com/duanes-squishy-adjustable-bed The bad news: the naked tickle fight party that was planned for all donors has been cancelled since we didn't reach $3,500 before December 6th.

Notice the space between the exclamation point and the address. Also notice the space between the address and the sentence that follows it.

The forum software is supposed to be upgraded sometime in 2018, so the text above could no longer be true after that happens.
