+atari2600land
I'm looking for a sprite artist for my Game Boy game I'm working on. You may remember me talking about the Oranges game for Game Boy. I'd like to redo the sprites. Here is what I want. The maxium sprite dimensions are height 16, width 8 pixels except for the oranges which are 8x8 and the room (in-game screen) which is 160x144. I can convert them to what I need, so I'd like these in .png (no jpg since it's a lossy format.) guy animated - 2 sprites, an orange. a syrup bottle a fork a banana. Any help would be appreciated. I'd like to see this game come to fruition (no pun intended.)
SignGuy81
What is the guy supposed to be doing? Animation of what?
+atari2600land
He's supposed to be walking around panicking. Here is a picture of what the orange-o-matic used to look like. I'd like to keep the floor (game play area) and the Orange-O-Matic the same size as in the game, yet have the place look totally different.
WizardBone
Hey dude, I think you mainly need the character sprite? The fork, bottle and banana sounds simple enough. With such limited dimensions it's hard to make anything detailed or beyond an objects silhouette. Ya know the obvious shape of the objects. And for the orange I would suggest a few or couple random pixels inside the orange you already have. Right now there is a reflection light, it looks like a smooth ball. Couple pixels for noise should fix that. It will give a slight illusion of lil pore/holes in the orange skin.
