LidLikesIntellivision
In my opinion, the best shooting up game for the system. For me, Galaga is the close second. 1) 23,900 2) 28,530 Edited January 14, 2018 by LidLikesIntellivision

DrMooCowz
23450 I made it to sector 4 once... once. I'm not really sure what I'm doing to get the secret bonuses sometimes, but woooo. Sector 3, most of time it's just running out of fuel that's getting me.

DrMooCowz
32560! That 'Warp Activated' thing is a game changer! Here's what I learned: You press down to activate the warp, not the other button Warp is once per life OR Warp is once per sector You can regain fuel by shooting those fireballs at the end right before the docking part With those above, I was pretty consistently getting at least 23000. The run for this score I got pretty deep into sector 4 before I exploded.
+Trebor
You press down to activate the warp, not the other button. This is an emulation inaccuracy of the ProSystem emulator. The only time pressing down should operate as warp is when the game detects a genuine one button function (I.E. VCS/CX40) joystick attached. Having a 'true' two button joystick (I.E. Proline Controller) attached, one button is warp, the other fires. Per the manual, the difficulty switches in the front of the console configures the button assignment. This is properly emulated under the A7800 emulator. When the default "proline_joystick" is the controller selected (Under "Slot Devices"), the game maps the warp function to whichever button is assigned to the task. When "vcs_joystick" is selected, pressing down triggers warp.
oyamafamily
Just to let you know, 1.3G is the version of ProSystem Emulator which I'm using. I use the following keys to play, considering 1 Player only: Arrows to move Z and X keys as fire buttons (For Astro Blaster, I used one of these buttons to activate WARP)

DrMooCowz
Astro Blaster new attempt 32,700 (best run starts at 04:43 in the video) Arg, watching the video, the very last ship that you shot was the difference being behind my score or ahead of my score! What was also interesting was we are both basically taking the same approach on when we're using the warps. Will give it another shot, hopefully soon!
