After just 35 years of waiting Intellivision fans with PAL systems get their cartridge release of one of the best games in the Intellivision library.

 

Dreadnaught Factor!

 

This is a limited release of 25 copies (24 at the moment).

 

You get a cartridge with the game (tested on different machines and working fine on PAL and NTSC, however some strangely modified consoles can produce errors)...

...and two PAL stickers which you can apply to the spine of a original Dreadnaught Factor box to make it a very special PAL box.

 

The price is 25 Euros (+ 2€ if you wanted it registered) including worldwide shipping as far as to our PAL brothers in Australia.

 

There are already a few copies gone, please start preordering now. At the moment there is only one copy per order. However, if there is not much interest in this product, it can be changed to two copies.

Same goes to collectors from outside the PAL region. If there are within a month of order time left overs, you can probably get one of these (but aside from a cartridge variation it brings nothing special for you).

 

The Copyright of this game is still by Activision. If some of you modern Activision guys reading this. This is just a small run for hardcore collectors and I don't do a profit on this project. I hope you don't mind!

No Dreadnaught inside, but a lot of work.

 

besides, the sleek model you see recently as my avatar is not yet content of the game (as far as i remember it's unfinished).

it's not as large as a dreadnaught, far not, 500 to 1000 tons is the maximum for "pioneer" ships (for some technical reasons, i have to work on this in future, we had the poss. once to have multiple hyperspace engines to make larger ships work in the game, but our devs thought it's a gernot typical abuse of the possibilities and "it's not wanted" - well.

the game itself is probably a bit slow, slower as the official releases, this is bound to the scripted models and my "abuse" of dynamic geometry.

neither it makes sense to have such large ships if you can only mount two guns, except as a carrier.
