jc78_2005
I ebayed a controller lot that also came with a Trakball. In nice enough condition all buttons work. Tried with centipede and as soon as game starts it drifts to the right. And stays there. No control of the ship what so ever. Any pointers on what May cause this? Ive read of sensors being bad etc but didnt see anything relating to this specific issue thanks in advance!
thetick1
Could be just dirt build up. Clean it up and get all the dirt off the ball and any of the plastic wheels touching the ball. I just use mostly water and a little rubbing alcohol and dry it off with paper towels immediately. I needed to clean out my trackball every couple of years but only about every decade now as I don't use it much as used to quite a few decades back. thetick1
My Trakball is about 36 years old and works fine. As long as you clean it when starts having issues and you don't drop or slam it a trakball should last a lifetime.
