matt
ok ... ive got a 2600.... ya know those pins that are in the contoller socket where you plug the controller into? two are missing (fell out) and i put two makeshift pins in my player one controller (player one socket is where they are missing form) cause without them the up direction and the button dont work ..... is there a way to fix this by putting makeshift ones into the system itself so i dont have to keep tighening the controller with a rubber band? its a pain ... and i need my (atari 2600) daily fix! has anyone ever done this? - matt
Atari-Jess
hmm id say its time to find a new atari there pal, unless you want to open it up and force them makeshift pins in, but id just get a...new(?) one.
+Mitch
If you have any soldering skill, You can replace the socket. You should be able to pick up a replacement socket for around $1 at any electronics store. Mitch http://atari7800.atari.org
