D Sub Screws for Expansion Port Connectors

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know the dimensions or official size for the D Sub Screws that are used to hold expansion card connectors in the rear ports of the IIe/IIGS and/or where I might potentially buy some? I have tried the standard 4-40 ones used with most PC connectors and they are too small.

I am not certain what the numbers mean, but I would assume one of them indicates the diameter of the threads. I would really like a source if anyone knows one as everything I find on Google seems to be "4-40" or "M3" which I assume is the metric equivalent. I think those are both the same size as I've seen screws advertised as being both.
