RetroGEN and RetroPort adapters for SNES

Thanks for looking! I'm guessing RetroBit no longer produces these, which is the only explanation I can think of as to why the RetroPort seems to go for so much (I'm not charging more than what I originally paid back when it was new, though)

There are still tons of retroports avalible. The people trying to sell them for $100 are on crack. They sell for $10 to $30 as completed listings clearly show.

As for the Genesis to SNES one goes, I'd be interested if you will ship to Canada. Other sellers are selling them for a couple bucks more NIB with $4 to $5 for first class shipping to Canada. I'd buy yours to save a couple bucks if you are interested. You won't have to pay the ebay fees that way either :) Send me a PM if you are interested. I'm game at $15 USD shipped.

My local store sells them for $20 each. I have the NES to SNES version, works fine so far.

How is the Genesis version? It's probably emulated?

Well, its running off a Genesis-on-a-chip design like most Standard-Definition Genesis clones. It's quite good though. I like it a great deal more than the NES one. The quality of the composite video is excellent, and was my preferred way of playing Genesis games up until I got my Super Retro Trio Plus recently.

At any rate, spider-man is incompatible w/the retrogen on the retro duo portable. Maybe others but that is just one game I tested on it and it would not work.

I haven't run into many compatibility issues myself, but as with any clone hardware, that is certainly something to always keep in mind with these kinds of devices.
