Yeah, pretty cool to see that photo! That was my second visit to the Classic Gaming Expo (first was in 2001) and first with an AtariAge booth. Here's my report from the event, along with more photos: https://www.atariage.com/features/cge2k2/ ..Al 6

+ZeroPage Homebrew
It's an amazing honour to be immortalized in an Atari 2600 game, especially with such an incredibly large sprite of me on the screen! If you haven't had a chance to check the new Atari 2600 game Meooow! that we played on the latest stream of ZeroPage Homebrew, head on over to the thread and give it a go! The likeness is really well done and the animation while you move around Atari is so awesome. Having Sprite on the game cover is a great bonus as well!! A massive thank to Mirsad @kikipdph for putting me into your game and also adding another much needed cat game into the Atari 2600 "cat"alogue! It was awesome showing off the World Premiere of your game on the stream! 🙂 - James

+llabnip
Great show today with @johnnywc - seemed like quite a few people showed who are concerned about the state of the retro-port world. Anyway, my one remaining question is why the upcoming Turbo Arcade 128K (or 120K?) demo will not run on a Harmony Encore? I thought that was the whole point of the Encore - more memory, bigger games? I'm half-asking because I'm also curious as to whether it will run on my portable DSi emulator... I can handle CDFJ+ up to 256K but if there is some other technology at play here, I'm all ears! edit: in my ongoing searches I think it’s the larger than 32K CDFJ+ scheme that causes problems for the Encore. source of info in and around here: And here:

PacManPlus
I just wanted to come here and let you know that I'm dealing with COVID (again) and because of that I actually fell asleep during the stream last night. So if anyone was looking for comments from me last night after the last one I made, I was out of it. My apologies... +llabnip
As it turns out, the scene is not okay with you going anywhere! Video games are meant to be played and enjoyed - and sometimes to push what is possible given the limitations of a system. As I've gotten older and reduced my physical collection, I realize it's not about fancy boxes or glossy manuals. Cardboard and paper decay, but love for the hobby and the community endures.

I purchased it on Etsy. While this particular rug is no longer available, they do have another.

There’s even a 2800 in the collection and yes, they all work. My 2600 Jr is presently in our living room, as it’s modded and we use it during our game nights. The heavy sixers are not modded, but a couple of my 4 switchers are, as is my daily 7800 and the FB2 below.
