humeur
Hello, I have a disk controller card page, is this a Corcomp card ? Edited April 2, 2018 by humeur
RickyDean
Not a Corcomp I am familiar with, maybe a BWG card, but it looks similar to a Corcomp. There were several iterations though, of the CC card.
jens-eike
Not a BwG card: see this picture: https://www.s-n-u-g.de/bwg/index_fr.php The TMS9901 is typically a sign of a CorComp card. My CorComp card has a 1773 controller, but I have seen the 2793 mentioned (on whtech?), they are software compatible.
RickyDean
Yes , it is similar, but I have two of the 2793 cards and the 9901 sets at the bottom right and the eprom(s)(2) sit up at the upper left. So this may be a later iteration, or possibly a next gen that did not get produced?
Ed in SoDak
Here is a recent thread with pics and links on the CorComp card and some of its variations. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/273707-in-need-of-corcomp-fdc-pics/
+Ksarul
I would also look at the Atronic controller, as that was yet another CorComp compatible controller. The drawing is definitely European, as all of the resistor values use a comma and the part number for the transistor is one that was common in Europe, but not in the US. Based on all of that, my suspicion definitely goes towards the Atronic controller. Mine is in storage or I would pop it out to be sure, but there are others here with one as well. humeur
I have never seen a picture of a Atronic controller floppy. Jean Louis
