Ok.

Some years ago I had idea, to make "fool" compo to 1'st April (Prima Aprilis in Polish). Idea was clear: everyone can add some Atari Basic code to lines write for other peoples. Firstly it was only short joke, but - in some edition - was few nice Atari Basic products. Time for it was only extremally short - from 2 days to 4 hours, so... Nobody's perfect, but fun is fun. Authors was named in REM lines on beggining each edition.

Please, don't take it seriously. All is in Polish language ;) Run it from Basic (atr with Autorun made for DOS 2,5, single density).

I messed with it real quick, for 2023Eng. some things are now different. I named it different on disk so you can see it instantly and do whatever you wish with it @Sikor

the run program option, that does clean up does not set 764 to 255, so you get a nice automatic input on next menu...

should I fix that as well or is it fun for error message joke? Do you want something added like new piece of joking thing for fun?

I did not know if last 'not so sober' chess board line is thrust piece, Insert Body, Push key, etc.

Okay, I add poke to make loaded program run stop key not sit in next menu input since no one says keep as is.

so now all is much fun but normal.

Maybe I make a 'Not so Sober Chessboard' joke as top line as chess uses 8 by 8 checkerboard. Or maybe I think on 8 by 8 truly sober chessboard?

@_The Doctor__Thanks a lot for translation! It looks very good now. One missing thing is "WDUŚ COŚ" at the bottom of chessboard. It means something like "PUSH SOMETHING", but "WDUŚ" in Polish is related to squeezing out, pressing, throttling. Hmmm.

I would restore cursor again - what is Operating System without cursor? :)

Cursor at menu sure thing

Put something, thrust something, insert something?  I have a hard time knowing the meaning, maybe slang about hitting something, like English demo's of old used to say 'Smack a Key' or 'Hit a Key' , perhaps invitation to add something to the demo... Maybe it's vaguely both?
