zanza
Does the keyboard of a 5200 Joystick works with a Colecovision ? Or maybe a Jaguar joystick ? Or which other one could easily and cheaply replace the worst of the worst controllers, namely Colecovision controllers TIA
VidGameKing
the 5200 joysticks are analog so they wouldent work, and as for the Jaguar's I think that the wiring would be wrong internaly, maybe a adaptor could be made, but it would be extensively complicated, and would cause command delay time. in short, nothing aside from wico controles if they made them. MrRetroGamer
You need a CHAMP keypad adapter, it's a full version Coleco keypad and then you plug your favorite 9 pin joystick in and use that on the ColecoVision. Only problem is that you won't have use of a second fire button in games that require one. There are other Coleco controller alternatives, there is WICO, Amiga, Newport, Questar, Suncom, Spectravideo and a few more I think. You can see them all in my collection here: http://retrogames-r-us.tripod.com
