AFAIK, only Intellivision Revolution's Mystery Game (of a mature subject...) and Intymike's The Dreadnaught Factor PAL have been released until now

correct me if I'm wrong

EDIT: I don't know if Rev started shipping Meteors

The Dreadnaught Factor PAL has any rework on the code or a new boxart? if the game is exactly the same as the original will not be candidate obiously

http://atariage.com/forums/topic/274914-only-for-european-or-australian-collectors/page-1

differently from the original, this version works on PAL consoles and TVs. It has its own cart label and the sticker for the box spine. Isn't it enough? :)

it's always nice to see people making efforts to explain their opinions. It's all clear now

goty focus on new games completed with boxes

eventually we can consider a separated category for roms of new games without a fully boxed release

re-releases of already existing games are acceptable as well if (as minimum requirement) a new box/manual/overlay is made (but this is already matter of discussion for the members in my opinion)

old games with a technical fix reprints are out of scope of the goty

I'm not out to get with my tiny release a GOTY reward, but we had lately a few very good games without box, namely Piggy Bank and others...

yes, so I will work around a distinction between full releases and rom releases (if complete roms of not published before games will be released)

I think a box shouldn't be a requirement to compete as GOTY. The lack of box and overlays should imo only make it more difficult to win the prize.

I guess it's somewhat fair to consider a cart release a minimum to compete.

But, actually, a released rom would be played much more even in real intellivision hardware with the help of a flash cart than a very limited CIB release.

Personally, I would allow every game released, cart or rom. If a developer releases his game and it's for the Intellivision, the game should in my humble opinion be elligible as GOTY.

I'm not out to get with my tiny release a GOTY reward, but we had lately a few very good games without box, namely Piggy Bank and others...

here's a list of the games originally released without box:

- Blix (GOTY 2014)

- Piggy Bank (GOTY 2015 - winner)

- Mystic Castle (GOTY 2016)

- Super Pro Baseball (GOTY 2016)

- FFTC Super Pro Hockey (GOTY 2O17)

- Laser Sharks (GOTY 2017)

So, I can reasonably expect The Dreadnaught Factor PAL will be allowed to compete...
