I think that is a missed opportunity to release the badly yellowed version of the Famicom Mini, just like 80% of all genuine Famicom consoles look. I strongly doubt Nintendo would release a special edition NES Mini with games based on manga. It would only be received as a pornography console... Are people really clamoring for old manga games? I never liked manga so I don't really know if the nostalgia bug is there. Perhaps Disney + something more for the western market, while Japan gets a bunch of manga games. Disney also owns Marvel and Star Wars. It would be fun to have everything 8-bit and 16-bit in a single purchase, wouldn't it? Honestly, I do like the idea of a Classic where you can load your own games without hacking. There is something fun about deciding what your own personal "Must have" list would be. I have a hard time imagining Nintendo, Capcom and Disney coming to an actual agreement to release such a plug-&-play unit. If Disney only gets peanuts of revenue from sales, they won't bother to sign the deal. Same for Nintendo and Capcom. So if this plug-&-play became reality, it would probably carry a high price tag. There are others by license too. Virgin had some stuff out like the movie games for Lion King, The Little Mermaid, and Jungle Book, Aladdin but outside of the US as was Beauty and the Beast. As pointed out there are the companies they sucked up too since which has a few marvel and star wars games behind it, Indiana Jones too. In case Nintendo really would mix and match titles from multiple formats, I'm not sure they would include N64 games before a dedicated N64 console has been released. It's different for everyone, to be sure. My daughter would go ape over a Pokémon console. Meanwhile all the older Mario games that can be emulated with cheap hardware like their current Mini consoles has already been emulated. The mainline Mario games are already all on those two consoles, so releasing a dedicated Mario console would severely overlap.
