+-^CrossBow^-
The official webpage for the OKGE is complete!!!...Yeah!!! Here are the basic details of the show in a nutshell: What is it? A show where area collectors and vendors come together to show off their pride and joys in their video game collections and perhaps even let the other collectors and general public attending actually play on them! What will be featured? This show will prominently feature systems from the pre Nintendo era. So the usual assortment of Atari, Colecovision, Intelly, and some vintage computer systems will all be represented. However, the show doesn't only focus on vintage systems and so, there will be a few PS1, Dreamcasts, and hopefully even up to the PS2 and Xbox will be seen. There will also be prize drawings for various gaming items. They could be memoriabilia or even game systems with games! There will hopefully be a few vendors present as we are still working on that (AtariAge?). And at current count we have about 5 exhibitors who will show off the key pieces of their collection with a strong possibility of more yet to register and sign up! When is it? The 1st annual OKGE will take place Saturday September 20, 2003 so there is still plenty of time to sign up for a table and make advanced plans to try and attend! Where is it? The OKGE will be held at the Best Western Owasso Inn & Suites in their spacious 1,425 SF 2nd floor conference room! This isn't the largest space but it should be plenty for a 1st show! There is plenty of space left still! Where can I find more information? Excellent Question! You will find all the details of the show and latest up to date information on show events, exhibitors, vendors, and sponsors here: I hope to see you all at the show!!! Dan Iacovelli
your site look good, and I wish you luck on your show. looking at the confrece room layout and details it looks kind of small to me. Dan Iacovelli ps. thanks for the plug for VGS(if you wanted to use the VGS graphic instead of the Word art graphic let me know)
+-^CrossBow^-
The photos of the room are very misleading, actually there is plenty of space in that room for tables along the perimeter of the walls and even in the center of the room. The total area of that room is over 1,400 sf which is exactly the size I had in mind for this being a first time show. I really don't know how many people to expect but I would like to fill the room. Next year I can locate a larger facility to hold this event. Afterall, I will have more time to reserve larger venues ahead of time. One thing that you must also realize is that so far all of this is being done on my dime. I purposely went into this show with no profit in mind. Afterall, if I was interested in making money and not having fun, would I have FREE admission to my show?

I know that feeling: VGS being my first show as well, I mostly looked for a big space but at low cost (I have 2160sqft for VGS table sizes are 2 by 5(5 feet long)). I have thought doing free admission and charge for tables but I figured that if we charge low cost it would help the cause a bit more. again good luck your show. purenergy
On the exhibitors section you listed that I would bring "games" with my Vectrex system. I will bring a Multicart, along with 2 homebrews for the Vectrex (and of course the Vectorcade controller). I've only got a few overlays, and will gladly bring them along. As for the Jaguar, I will also bring a Rotary controller, and a joystick controller. Would anyone be interested in seeing a Dina 2-in-1 (ColecoVision compatible) system? How about an Atari 5200 rotary controller? Sounds like it's going to be a fun event! Brad
Phosphor Dot Fossils
I'd be seeing all of the above. Then again, I'm always interested in seeing stuff I've never seen before. I'll be sure to bring my camera.
