w/ stock controller. Both races ended near the end of the 7th lap, but on the higher score, I crashed only once. You'd think someone could get to the 8th lap w/o crashing, and surpass 100,000 points.

No crashes this time, but just couldn't finish the 7th lap. Slightly better score (see below).

Hey, are your screen colors like that from the start of the game, or do they change after a couple laps? I've got to play mine well over an hour to get that effect.

Anyways...

78,150

I once made the mistake years ago of turning a dial inside the system that adjusts the colors. Recently I tried adjusting again, but I can never seem to get the colors just right.

Also: I have a new score to share. I didn't crash until lap #8, and I couldn't quite finish.

OK. Just thought I'd say something as "green becoming brown" is a classic warning of failing voltage regulator. I use Kaboom for setting color on all 2600/5200's. Just dial to the greenest green possible and you're set.

The month of June goes to newcomer jnice for an excellent run of our course. Thanks to all who played and make this possible, and interesting. I'll get July's challenge up soon, and remember, suggestions are always welcome.
