Hank Rearden
You do mean Namco Speedway for 8 laps. I don't see a Namco GP. Just making sure.

Northcoastgamer
76,850. Nearly made it to Lap 7. The amount of cars to deal with during the later laps is comparable to rush hour at times. Ran a 57"08 for Lap 2. Best Pole Lap so far was a 58"30. Another one of those games that is fun and aggravating at the same time.
jnice
w/ stock controller. Both races ended near the end of the 7th lap, but on the higher score, I crashed only once. You'd think someone could get to the 8th lap w/o crashing, and surpass 100,000 points.
jnice
No crashes this time, but just couldn't finish the 7th lap. Slightly better score (see below).

zylon
It's said that AGP 8lp is the hardest setting in the game, but I've always felt the Namco 8lp was harder.

Hey, are your screen colors like that from the start of the game, or do they change after a couple laps? I've got to play mine well over an hour to get that effect. Anyways... 78,150 Edited June 30, 2018 by zylon

Recently I tried adjusting again, but I can never seem to get the colors just right. Also: I have a new score to share. I didn't crash until lap #8, and I couldn't quite finish. Just thought I'd say something as "green becoming brown" is a classic warning of failing voltage regulator. I use Kaboom for setting color on all 2600/5200's. Just dial to the greenest green possible and you're set.
