Marco!
Hi all, just picked up a Flashback 8 Gold at a Canadian Walmart (~$100, in stores only), and only AFTER I bought it I read the reviews. All the reviews I saw mentioned an SD-slot, which does not appear on retail units. (e.g. here: https://gizmodo.com/i-tested-two-retro-consoles-one-good-one-hot-garbage-1797304161) Did anyone take on apart to see if this is still on the mainboard, so all you'd need to do is solder a SD card connector? Of course the firmware would still need to support it. I haven't seen actual pictures of the SD port in reviews, so maybe the reviewers were just told it would be there (and was only implemented on the portable so you'd buy that one too). Flojomojo
The 2016 and 2017 portables have an SD card. The flashback 8 TV console does not, and never did. Your link returns a 404. Maybe the next releases this fall will be expandable?

Maybe the next releases this fall will be expandable? It worked when I did right click > Search google for... It does briefly mention an SD slot, but I am thinking this is just another idiot pseudo-journalist that didn't check their facts and got the FB8 and FBP confused in this matter. No SD card for the FB8s.
